    This Swamp looks wonderful and you gave useful advices. I wear breathable waders in the swamp and use a stick to get out if I get stuck. Thanks Ranger Amy. :)

    Nps devastated the area,they killed all the wild hogs and cows in the area,the wild hogs made the panthers thrive,then they released texas cougars in the area a bigger and hungrier cat,the hybrids ate so many of the smaller deer that lived there leaving no food for the real panther,now they moved closer to towns in search of food.they are getting hit by cars and over development.Now there is no florida panther only texas cougars.

    It is a TEST BECAUSE OF THE Mis-Management of Lake Okeechobee Release water flows. Sending all that trash water (Rich Corporate Domino Sugar Waste) down the Okeechobee River is just WRONG! Politics/Greed... is the problem. Paid off Politicians is the problem. TRUTH

    the buttress seems to happen at the high water mark at least looking at the stains on the tree, so they usually just form in trees in the water constantly and affected by seasonal flooding
